Cuba Hosts Baseball Pre-Olympics

According to Prensa Latina
Starting Aug 26 Cuba will host the Pre-Olympic Baseball Tournament of the Americas, giving slots for Beijing-2008, the World Cup and Pan-American Games in Brazil.
Twelve countries will participate split into two pools: (A) Cuba, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Nicaragua and Panama; and (B) Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and the US.
The matches will be held at the Latin American stadium in Havana, “Changa” Mederos in Santiago and Nelson Fernandez in Havana Province.
