Mexico vs Rockies Exhibition Game 1

Colorado Rockies seems too much for Mexican National Team, they won by 15-2, even this is just the exhibition game for Mexico to warm up.

On MLB.com:

Rockies at the plate: Prospect Christian Colonel knocked a three-run double. Ryan Spilborghs doubled twice and scored twice. Dexer Fowler with 2-for-6 with a double and two runs scored, Matt Kata had two RBI singles, Ian Stewart drove in two runs and Mike McKenry doubled.

Mexico at the plate: The Mexican squad was down, 15-0, in the seventh when Albino Contreras knocked a two-run homer to left off lefty relief prospect Josh Newman.

Rockies on the mound: Rockies starter Ubaldo Jimenez was smooth over two innings. He gave up a hit but forced a double-play grounder in the first inning, and he overcame a leadoff walk in the second by retiring the next three batters and fanning two. … Brandon Hynick, the Class A California League Pitcher of the Year in 2007, threw two scoreless innings, overcoming loaded bases with one out in the fourth by striking out former Rockies player Miguel Ojeda and forcing a Carlos Valencia grounder.

Mexico on the mound: Starter Francisco Campos absorbed six runs, five earned, and nine hits in four innings. He struck out four, walked one and hit one. Jose Silva gave up nine runs and seven hits in one inning. Former Rockies reliever David Cortes pitched a perfect 1 2/3 innings.
